Woman Killed, Driver Critical in Kent Tree Crash

A woman has been killed and another is fighting for her life after a Mini Cooper crashed into a tree on the A20 in Sellindge, Kent, on Sunday evening. The incident occurred at around 8:40pm near the junction of Meadow Grove.

The driver, a 44-year-old woman, was airlifted to a London hospital where she remains in a life-threatening condition. The passenger, a 46-year-old woman, was declared dead at the scene. Her next of kin has been informed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Kent Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to the crash. Officers are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
