Police and paramedics swarmed a Timperley street on Thursday evening after a disturbance left a man injured. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers were called to Aimson Road East at around 5:20pm on July 2 following reports of a disturbance at a property.
Man Suffers Minor Injuries
A man at the scene sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to a GMP spokesperson. The force confirmed that a woman in her 60s was arrested on suspicion of assault. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing as of Friday.
Emergency Response
Images from the scene showed at least four GMP patrol cars and two ambulances in attendance on the residential street. The swift response by emergency services highlighted the seriousness of the call-out.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 5.20pm yesterday (July 2), officers responded to reports of a disturbance at a property on Aimson Road East, Timperley. One man suffered minor, non life-threatening injuries. A woman in her 60s was arrested on suspicion of assault. Enquiries are ongoing."
