A woman was rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries after being hit by a car in Bury. The crash happened on Bridge Street in Ramsbottom at around 7.30pm on Monday evening (August 24).
Emergency response and cordon
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, and a stretch of the street was cordoned off as crews responded.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to hospital from the scene with life-changing injuries.
No arrests made
No arrests were made. The GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, at around 7.30pm on Bridge Street, Ramsbottom. She was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries. No arrests have been made."
