Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old girl reported being raped in a Bradford park in broad daylight. The incident occurred at Pitt Hill park in Holme Wood, and police have cordoned off the area while investigations continue.
Arrests and Investigation
Officers were called to the park at around 6pm on August 5. Two boys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody. The girl is receiving support from a specialist team.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Detectives are investigating after a report of a rape on Pitt Hill park in Holme Wood. A 15 year old girl reported being raped at around 6pm yesterday (August 5)."
Appeal for Information
The spokesperson added: "Two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17 years old, have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford District Safeguarding Team."
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
