The terrifying moment a toddler dangled from a ledge in East London has been captured on camera, as horrified onlookers watched from below. The incident took place above a pawnbrokers shop on Ilford High Road, where the young girl clung to a window ledge before losing her grip.
Rescue Operation Unfolds
The footage shows the girl dangling above the busy high street as a crowd gathered to witness the tense moments. A woman emerged from a lower window, shouting up to the child, while a police officer and a man carried out the rescue effort. A topless man in grey tracksuit bottoms positioned himself directly underneath the girl, standing alongside the officer on the roof.
