A 35-year-old thug who subjected a woman to a horrifying campaign of terror—including threats to throw acid in her face—has been jailed for 12 years.
The brute, identified as Jason Carter, unleashed a wave of intimidation and violence against his victim, leaving her in constant fear for her life. His reign of terror included chilling threats to disfigure her with acid, alongside physical assaults and relentless psychological torment.
A Campaign of Fear
Carter's victim endured months of abuse, during which he repeatedly threatened to scar her for life with corrosive substances. In one particularly harrowing incident, he boasted about his ability to obtain acid and warned her she would "never forget what he could do."
The court heard how the woman lived in perpetual dread, too terrified to leave her home or report him to authorities until she finally found the courage to seek help.

At Kingston Crown Court, Carter was handed a 12-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including threats to kill, assault, and coercive control. The judge condemned his actions as "calculated and sadistic," designed to inflict maximum suffering.
