Three males have been arrested on suspicion of murder as the search for a missing Northumberland man continues. Paul, who also goes by the name Wadey, was last seen near the Clayport Street area of Alnwick on Wednesday, May 13.
Arrests Made
Northumbria Police confirmed that a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 24 and 39, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. All three have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Following Paul's disappearance, police have been carrying out extensive enquiries in their efforts to locate the 36-year-old. On Saturday June 13, officers released a new CCTV image of Paul in Alnwick town centre on May 13, hoping it would jog the memory of someone who may have seen him.
Police Appeal
Detective Inspector Rachael Rutherford of Northumbria Police said: "To anyone who may have information about where Paul may be – no matter how small or insignificant that you think it is – please get in touch. Your details could help us locate Paul and provide his family and loved ones with the answers they deserve."
Paul is described as a white man, about 5ft 11inches tall, of medium build, with brown coloured hair and brown eyes. A dedicated page has been set up on the Northumbria Police website to allow members of the public to share information on Paul's whereabouts.
