Three people have been arrested following a domestic incident on Aigburth Road in Liverpool. Merseyside Police responded to a property on Aigburth Road at approximately 2:45 PM on Friday, July 10, after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Arrests Made
Following initial inquiries, officers arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of robbery. He remains in police custody. A 47-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of controlling prostitution for gain, and a 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.
Alleyway Cordoned Off
An alleyway on Aigburth Road, near the junction with Sandhurst Street, has been cordoned off since the incident. When the Liverpool ECHO arrived at the scene shortly before 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 11, one police car was parked outside a flat in the alleyway. Two Matrix police vans and another police car arrived shortly after, with multiple officers conducting a search of the property.
Police have stated that enquiries into the incident are ongoing. No further details have been released at this time.
