A mother in Bearwood was left stunned after discovering her morning milk delivery had been taken from her doorstep by a woman wearing nothing more than black underwear and flip-flops. The incident, captured on a doorbell camera at around 5am, shows the semi-naked woman calmly strolling up the drive, lifting two bottles of milk, and making off with them.
Footage Reveals Unusual Theft
The homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, opened her front door to find the milk bottles missing and later checked her doorbell camera. The footage shows the woman, dressed in knickers, a crop top, and casual footwear, taking the milk before leaving the property. The baffled homeowner posted the footage on Facebook, where other local residents reported similar milk thefts in the area.
"We were very frustrated to see it on our doorbell as have two young children, but you hope it's someone in such desperate need they resort to stealing," the homeowner said. "Why in her underwear we do not know! Makes us think twice about getting milk delivered as it has happened several times in our area recently."
Police Investigation Underway
West Midlands Police confirmed they received a report of theft, with milk stolen at 5:10am on Friday, July 17.
