A search has been launched for an aircraft reported downed approximately 15 miles off Andros Island in the Bahamas, according to the US Coastguard.
The US Coastguard said in a statement: "The @USCG is assisting the @TheRBDF following a report of a downed aircraft with four souls onboard approx 15 mi off Andros Island, Bahamas."

A US Coastguard HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane is supporting the search operation. The statement added: "The case is ongoing. For more information, contact Bahamian authorities."
