Disturbing mobile phone footage, which has since been widely circulated, captures the chilling moment a man suddenly turns on the teenager. Without any apparent warning or provocation, the assailant delivers a series of savage punches to the boy's head and body in a sustained attack.
The victim, dressed in his school uniform, is seen desperately trying to shield himself from the blows as the carriage rocks along the tracks. The audible thuds of the punches land in stark contrast to the stunned silence of the other passengers, who watch on in terror.
