Spanish police boarded a Manchester-bound plane at Malaga Airport and arrested a man over an alleged hit-and-run in a popular Spanish holiday resort.
Arrest at Malaga Airport
Police stormed the aircraft on the tarmac at Malaga Airport and detained the suspect over the incident on Tuesday morning.
The man was believed to have been the driver of a rental car involved in the hit-and-run at a zebra crossing in the Costa del Sol resort of Torremolinos.
Victim hospitalised
The victim, a 12-year-old boy, was heading to school when he was knocked down. He suffered a fractured skull and was taken to hospital, according to reports.
