Meghan and Harry's UK Return a 'Slap in the Face' for William

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly planning to return to the UK for an extended period after years of living in California, a move a royal expert has described as a 'slap in the face' for Prince William.

Expert Warns of 'Serious Damage' to Monarchy

Royal reporter Tom Sykes told Page Six that the prospect of Harry and Meghan returning to the UK is a 'huge slap in the face for William, and it does also create serious risks for the monarchy.' Sykes described the situation as 'a very very dangerous situation,' adding that 'there's no way that the late Queen Elizabeth II would've allowed this to happen.'

Recent UK Visit and Upcoming Trip

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with the King and Queen at Highgrove House with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, last month. Harry is due to visit Britain again in September after attending an event to mark one year until the Invictus Games in Birmingham and taking part in goat yoga in Warwickshire last month.
