A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg when a group of six masked individuals opened fire on a house in Louisiana in the early hours of Monday morning.
The suspects were seen on footage exiting a vehicle and approaching a property on Daytona Avenue before firing several shots into the home at approximately 4.00am.
Deputies responding to the scene found the teenager, who was the only person inside the property at the time, with a gunshot wound to the leg. He has been taken to hospital.

The authorities have said they do not believe the teenager was the intended target. An investigation into the shooting is currently underway.
