A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in a daylight attack on Bedford Road in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 2.40pm on Saturday, 1 August, and found the man injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition has not been confirmed.

Footage from the scene shows police locking down the area, with a police car parked at either end of the road near Interchange Retail Park. Around eight police vehicles and at least one ambulance could be seen in the clip.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Saturday, 1 August, 2026, officers received a report of a man having been injured within an address on Bedford Road, Aberdeen.

“The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
