A man and a teenage boy are fighting for their lives after being shot on a residential street in Solihull in the early hours of Monday morning.
Incident Details
The double shooting occurred on Vauxhall Crescent at approximately 2:30 AM on June 15. Emergency services rushed both victims to hospital with gunshot wounds that are believed to be life-threatening.
Police Response
Police have cordoned off the area and are conducting inquiries. No arrests have been made yet as officers hunt for the gunman. One resident reported hearing at least four gunshots during the night.
A police spokesman said: "We are investigating after shots were fired in Vauxhall Crescent, Smith's Wood, this morning. We were called after a man and a teenage boy were injured just before 2:40 AM today. They were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds with their injuries initially believed to be life-threatening."
