A man from Leeds has been sentenced to prison for encouraging an individual in the United States to take his own life during a livestream.

Dylan Phelan, 21, from the Churwell area of Morley, appeared in court today where he received a sentence of six years and four months. He had previously pleaded guilty to intentionally performing an act capable of encouraging the suicide of another person.
