Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have recalled the terrifying moment police arrived at their home in the middle of the night after an alarm alerted them to a possible intruder.
The newlyweds and their baby son Ziggy, now eight months old, were asleep when they were suddenly woken by a loud doorbell at around midnight.
Police at the door
Sophie, 31, explained on their podcast: "I get back into bed, going off to sleep, ding dong, ding dong. That's it, 'is that the door?'"
Jamie, 37, then hangs out of the bedroom window to find police officers are outside their London pad and talks to them in a "dominating voice", worried it's burglars "dressed as policeman".
Sophie continued: "They're like, 'Hey, the alarm's gone off, we think somebody's in your garden. We need to come in.'"
There were four officers outside, with flashing lights, before the couple eventually let them into the house to check that everything is okay and that they are safe.
A false alarm
Jamie admitted: "I was terrified, it was pretty scary. It was absolutely terrifying, I was s****ing myself. It's like policemen in your house, there's, like, five of them. Five of them in the house, and I was like, 'this is quite intense'."
The officers searched the garden, climbed over the wall and checked the neighbouring property, which belongs to a "high profile" male celebrity, after an alarm had gone off there.
But the drama didn't end when the officers initially left; the couple called them back worried that they hadn't searched the basement.
Sophie revealed: "They're like, 'alright there's going to be some dogs coming in next, we're gonna wait outside until the dogs come.' Ten minutes later, ding dong, ding dong, in come Alsatians racing through our house! Sniffer dogging our house."
The huge police dog was brought inside to search the property, but thankfully nobody was found and the entire incident turned out to be a false alarm.
Jamie said: "No one was there. No one had broken in. It was a complete false alarm, but it was absolutely exhilarating."
