Chaotic scenes unfolded in Glasgow city centre before the Celtic v Celta Vigo Europa League match, as rival fans clashed and glass bottles were thrown.
Violence on Argyle Street
Video footage shared on social media shows supporters charging at each other on Argyle Street, with glass missiles smashing on the road as hooded individuals in dark clothing ran past. Screams from terrified bystanders can be heard in the clip.
The violence broke out shortly before the 8pm kick-off at Parkhead.
Large away following expected
Thousands of Celta Vigo fans arrived at Celtic Park for the match, which is expected to be the Spanish club's largest-ever away day following. It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.
Ultras boycott
Celtic's ultras group were not due to be in the stands for the game. In protest at the board, they confirmed in a statement they would boycott the remaining European home fixtures and all Scottish Cup matches.
