Prince Harry and William's Bond 'So Broken' Despite King Charles Reunion
Harry and William's Bond 'So Broken' Despite Charles Reunion

Prince William and Prince Harry's bond is 'broken' beyond repair, and the Duke of Sussex's latest visit to the UK proved it, according to sources. The Duke of Sussex returned to the UK last week for five days of engagements related to his patronages. He made headlines after meeting his father, King Charles, in a 'private family gathering' at Highgrove House last Friday, joined by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Reunion with King Charles, but Not with William

Sources now claim that while Harry's reunion with his father may have marked a 'turning point' in that relationship, the same cannot be said for the one with his estranged brother. William and Harry's bond turned sour after a series of accusations from the Sussex camp towards the royals. Harry also made several claims about his brother in his memoir, Spare, which the Firm has never commented on.

Now, sources claim that the rift between the two feuding brothers shows no signs of healing, and that was evident during Harry's trip back to Britain. On his first day in London, Harry and William were just 12 miles apart but ended up not meeting.

Source: 'It Is So Broken'

A source told People magazine: 'It [their bond] is so broken.' They added: 'I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest. But there has been no movement, especially on William's side. There is no contact.'

During an interview with the BBC last year, Prince Harry said: 'Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things, but I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore.'

No Meeting During UK Visit

The lack of a meeting between the brothers during Harry's five-day stay underscores the depth of the rift. While Harry spent time with his father and his family at Highgrove, he did not see William. The distance between them—just 12 miles on one occasion—highlighted the ongoing estrangement. The source's comments suggest that William remains unwilling to bridge the gap, despite Harry's expressed desire for reconciliation.
