Paredes then clashed with Gavi, appearing to strike him in the head before shoving him to the floor. Argentina's Nahuel Molina also punched Rodri in the stomach, prompting the Manchester City star to confront him. Nicolas Otamendi joined the altercation, exchanging words with Rodri over pre-match comments about the referee.
