Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, has died at a rehab facility. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that Presley passed away on Sunday, September 20, while hospitalised at the facility.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed, and an autopsy has not yet been completed.
Family Statement
When approached by TMZ for comment on Presley's status, a representative for Cindy, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed that he had died earlier on Sunday.
They said: "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time."
Background and Struggles
In January 2019, Presley was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), which led to a three-year probation sentence. He was also ordered to complete a DUI program and two days of community service.
Presley was the only son of Cindy and Rande and had long struggled with his mental health as well as substance and drug abuse.
