One child has died and two other children and a woman are fighting for their lives after an alleged stabbing in Australia. The injured were all found in a vehicle in the Blue Mountains after emergency services were called around 1pm on Sunday, September 20.
Emergency Response at Valley Heights
Police attended the car on Waratah Road at Valley Heights, near Springwood, and found one of the children dead. All of the children are under five years old, the force has confirmed.
New South Wales Police said in a statement: "NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the two children and the woman at the scene before they were conveyed to Westmead Hospital and Westmead Children's Hospital."
Investigation Underway
Before the police's arrival, members of the public were issuing first aid. A crime scene has been set up around the vehicle, and the force has confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
Police are urging anyone in the area at the time, or anyone with information or dashcam video, to call police or Crime Stoppers.
