At least 20 people have died and five others are missing after a fire broke out on a cargo ship docked for repairs at a port in China, according to Chinese state media.
Fire at Qingdao shipyard
The vessel was being repaired at Beihai Shipbuilding Co. in the port of Qingdao, a major shipping hub on the northeastern Chinese coast. Dramatic footage shared online showed thick smoke billowing from the ship.
Ship identified as Ocean Melody
A photo released by the Xinhua news agency identified the ship as the Ocean Melody, which sails under a Liberian flag, according to the tracking website VesselFinder.
The incident remains under investigation, and the search for the missing continues.
