Car Driven into House and Set Alight in Early Morning Attack
A car was deliberately driven into a house in Glasgow and then set on fire in an early morning attack, police have said. Emergency services were called to Boclair Street in the Netherton area shortly after 1am on Sunday, June 27. No one was injured in the incident, and extensive enquiries are ongoing.
Police Appeal for Information a Week After Incident
A week after the attack, Police Scotland have issued an appeal for information as they seek to trace three suspects. One suspect is believed to have made off from the scene on an e-bike. Detective Constable Stirling said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or who may have information to assist our investigation, to please come forward. We’d particularly urge anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.”

The incident occurred around 1.10am on Sunday, June 27, in Boclair Street. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Detectives are appealing for information after a car was deliberately driven into a house and set on fire in the Netherton area of Glasgow. The incident, involving three suspects, occurred in Boclair Street around 1.10am on Sunday, June 27. One suspect made off from the scene on what is believed to be an e-bike. Nobody was injured during the incident and extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
