A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after a child was stabbed in Finsbury Park on the evening of October 26.
Emergency services were dispatched to Blackstock Road at approximately 11.15pm following reports of an attack at the junction of Rock Street.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics treated a 14-year-old boy at the scene before transporting him to a major trauma centre 'as a priority'. His injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Arrest and Investigation
Metropolitan Police officers apprehended a separate 14-year-old boy on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody while further enquiries are carried out.
Police, paramedics and a trauma team from London's Air Ambulance all attended the scene. Officers were still present in the area in the morning, with a cordon established on Blackstock Road between Seven Sisters Road and Rock Street.
A medical kit and a dismantled police tent were visible behind the blue-and-white police tape. Several bus routes, including the 106 and 19, were temporarily diverted away from Blackstock Road but have since resumed their normal routes.
