Violent scenes unfolded at a bingo hall in West Yorkshire when a game descended into chaos, with players throwing punches, scratching and pulling each other's hair. The incident occurred at Club 3000 in Leeds at around 9pm on Sunday, September 28.
Footage from the venue shows two women grabbing each other by the hair and a man appearing to punch a woman in the face. One onlooker can be heard screaming in shock. The cause of the outbreak has not been confirmed, but witnesses suggested tensions flared after a man was ejected from the venue, prompting his female companion to lash out.
“It was absolute chaos,” one attendee said. “The whole place was in total uproar. It was like WWE in a bingo hall.” Another added: “Women were swinging handbags and pulling each other's hair. Men were running across the tables to break things up but then getting caught in the middle.”
The bingo session was paused while staff restored order. West Yorkshire Police confirmed they were called at 9:11pm to the premises on Balm Road, Hunslet, following reports of an ongoing fight. A spokesperson said: “A public order offence is being investigated. There were no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.”
