A black hatchback can be seen moving into the middle lane on the M25 before clipping the vehicle in front and rolling over across the tarmac. The incident occurred between junctions 12 and 13 near Staines, Surrey, on July 5.
Inside the car, a man can be heard gasping 's**t' while a woman shouts 'F**k' as the vehicle overturns. Traffic on the motorway quickly came to a halt, and several motorists abandoned their own cars to try to help those inside the overturned hatchback.
Emergency services called
Police said they were called to the scene at around 5.40pm on Sunday, July 5, following reports of a crash involving two vehicles. Ambulance crews, firefighters and National Highways officers also attended.
Occupants taken to hospital
The two occupants of the overturned car were treated at the scene by paramedics. The South East Coast Ambulance Service said both patients were then taken to St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey for further checks.
