Calvin Harris is returning to Hampden Park this weekend for two homecoming shows, his first performances at the stadium since 2022. Each night is expected to bring 50,000 fans to the Glasgow venue.
Why the road restrictions are in place
Glasgow City Council has introduced temporary road closures around the stadium “for the safety of crowds and for the safety of other road users and pedestrians.”
The restrictions apply to all vehicles, apart from emergency services and those granted permission by the council’s events team.
No waiting, loading or unloading from July 31
The following streets are under a no waiting, loading or unloading order from 6pm on Friday, July 31 until 11.59pm on Sunday, August 2:
- Calder Street (between Polmadie Road and Aitkenhead Road)
- Polmadie Road (between Aitkenhead Road and Siding Lane)
- Polmadie Street (between Aitkenhead Road and Polmadie Street)
- Jessie Street (full length)
No waiting, loading, unloading or vehicle movements from 10am
These restrictions apply from 10am on Friday, July 31 until 11.59pm on Saturday, August 1; from 10am on Saturday, August 1 until 11.59pm on Sunday, August 2; and from 10am on Sunday, August 2 until 11.59pm on Sunday, August 2:

- Letherby Drive (between Carmunnock Road and Hampden Stadium)
Further restrictions from 3pm

Prohibition of vehicle movements, along with no waiting, loading or unloading, applies from 7pm on Saturday, August 1 until 1am on Sunday, August 2, and from 7pm on Sunday, August 2 until 1am on Monday, August 3:
