A crash on the M53 southbound between junction 3 at Woodchurch and junction 4 at Bebington has caused congestion this morning.
Incident Details
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reported just before 8am on Monday that the M53 southbound was partially blocked due to an accident. The crash involved a motorbike and a van, according to Merseyside Police. Officers received a report about the crash just before 7.25am.
Casualty and Response
The rider of the motorbike has been taken to hospital, but their injuries have not been confirmed at this stage. National Highways confirmed there is congestion at the scene.
