The M4 has been closed westbound between junction 48 Hendy and Pont Abraham after a vehicle fire on Saturday afternoon. Dyfed-Powys Police has asked drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
Traffic is building up along the motorway as the South Wales Fire Service attends the scene after a car burst into flames on the carriageway.

At 16:35 BST, traffic was queuing along the M4 as the road remained closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "M4 JCT 48 Westbound - Hendy to Pont Abraham. The road is currently closed due to a vehicle fire."
The spokesperson added: "Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey."
