Sophia, a resident of the home where the bus crashed, described the event as a shock. She told reporters: 'Around 6am, me and my mum heard a bang noise, like a crash, so we looked out the window and obviously we saw the number six bus coming through our driveway.'

She added: 'We went down and I grabbed water for everybody. A lady had hurt her back so I went and got her a blanket for her. It was more of a shock seeing it outside my window. When we heard that someone was hurt, we automatically thought to help.'

The daughter of the injured woman later commented on TikTok to confirm she was okay.

Recovery Operation

Photographs from the scene show uniformed police officers standing on the road behind the bus, with debris visible underneath the vehicle, which remained lodged in the hedge. The bus was eventually removed from the garden, and the roads reopened later in the day.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Mill Road in Clydebank is closed following a single vehicle crash, involving a bus, which happened around 6am on Monday, 8 June. Emergency services attended and passengers were checked by paramedics at the scene.'
