Coronation Street fans were left baffled by Jodie Ramsey for the same reason as she was seen making a discovery in the latest edition of the long-running show.
As those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, know, the character arrived in Weatherfield at the start of the year in the aftermath of the dramatic crash which claimed the life of vicar Billy Mayhew.
After being tied up in the back of a van, driven by Emmerdale's Graham Foster, Jodie made her escape, and it was at the hospital where she revealed herself to be Shona Platt's long-lost sister.
Jodie's unsettling behaviour
Since then, Jodie has made herself comfortable at No.8, but she's also been seen making some Weatherfield residents targets of her unusual games, with them previously seeing that she holds onto a trinket box, containing different items she's taken from those she knows, including Bernie Winter-Alahan, Brian Packham and DS Lisa Connor-Swain.
But it was in July that the trinket box was once again discovered by Lily, after the youngster previously came across the box, as did David's sister, Sarah Platt, who had arrived at No.8 after killing Theo Silverton to find the house trashed, only for Jodie to hit her over the head and leave her for dead.
While Shona confronted her sister as Sarah came clean about who attacked her, she initially kicked her out before having a change of heart when Jodie unexpectedly returned to No.8 during a homecoming celebration for David and Shona's baby daughter, Harper.
Tormenting Bethany and Kit
While spoilers for upcoming Corrie episodes have confirmed that Jodie will target her exhausted sister, at the moment, she is focused on tormenting Bethany Platt and Kit Green after discovering they recently slept together.
While Jodie has been trying to date detective Kit with Sarah out of the picture, during Wednesday's (September 9) episode of the soap, she wasn't best pleased when she received a voice note from Kit, explaining he didn't want to see her again and they were better off as friends.
Wanting to get her own back, she let herself into Kit's flat, and upon hearing him return home with Bethany, Jodie quickly hid in a different room. She then overheard Kit and Bethany speaking about their night together, during which they admitted it was a mistake and that it should never have happened.
Fans question her access
But was Jodie not only listening to the conversation, she also recorded it and looks set to use it for her own gain. However, as the scenes unfolded, Corrie fans were confused.
@aaabbb3 asked: "How did Jodie get into Bethany 's flat? #corrie." @jacquelinealexander2191 echoed: "How did Jodie get into Sarah's flat?." @MattAllsoppF1 said: "How did Jodie get into Kit’s flat, or are we just meant to let that go so they can set up the totally contrived scene of Kit and Bethany discussing sleeping together #CoronationStreet #Corrie."
@KP198408 commented: "So Jodie has special skills to break into people’s homes #corrie." @SouthernCazza1 wrote: "How the heck did Jodie get into Sarah's flat? David's bang on the nail - she is a bunny boiler #Corrie." @cormachanleyking added: "How did jodie even get into sarahs flat without a key."
