Dramatic footage shared online captures the moment a driver and passenger appear to escape serious injury after their black hatchback flips and rolls across the carriageway on the M25. The car can be seen moving into the middle lane before clipping the vehicle in front, overturning twice and coming to rest on its side. Fellow motorists immediately stopped and jumped out of their vehicles to check on the occupants.
Emergency response near Staines
Police were called to the M25 between junctions 12 and 13 near Staines following reports of a crash involving two vehicles. The incident took place at around 5.40pm on Sunday, July 5, according to The Sun. Ambulance crews, firefighters and National Highways officers all attended the scene.
The two occupants of the overturned car were treated by paramedics at the roadside before being taken to hospital, The Sun reported. The South East Coast Ambulance Service said both patients were assessed before being transported to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey for further checks.
