Avon and Somerset Police have arrested one person following a hit-and-run incident involving a cyclist in Bristol on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to North Street in Bedminster just after 12:30pm following reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist. The car fled the scene before police arrived but was later located, leading to an arrest.
North Street remains closed at its junctions with King William Street, Sion Road, Braunton Road, Henburn Road, and Fairfield Road while investigations continue. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
