An obstruction on the road at Moor Farm Roundabout is causing heavy tailbacks in the area. The A19 is partially blocked near the roundabout, with significant queues affecting the A189 as well.
Queues stretch past hospital
Travel queues on the A189 are stretching beyond the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital at Cramlington. Traffic camera photographs show the delays on the A189 past the hospital.
Backworth affected
On the A19 itself, tailbacks are now seeing queues as far as Backworth.
