A Bearwood mother was left stunned after discovering her milk bottles had been allegedly stolen from her doorstep at 5am, with the suspected culprit captured on her doorbell camera wearing only black underwear and flip-flops.

The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, opened her front door on Friday, July 17, to find her milk delivery had vanished. Reviewing her doorbell footage, she saw a woman stroll up her driveway at 5am, wearing footwear, knickers, and a crop top. The woman snatched two milk bottles and made a brazen escape.
Refusing to stay silent, the homeowner posted the footage on Facebook, where others also reported missing milk deliveries recently, according to Birmingham Live.
Homeowner's Reaction
The homeowner, noting that this had happened several times in the area, said: "We were very frustrated to see it on our doorbell as have two young children, but you hope it's someone in such desperate need they resort to stealing. Why in her underwear we do not know!" She added: "Makes us think twice about getting milk delivered as it has happened several times in our area recently."
Police Investigation
West Midlands Police confirmed they received a report of theft at 5.10am on Friday, July 17. A spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 or use the Live Chat option on our website quoting crime number 20/328342/26."
