Merseyside Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following a series of vehicle break-ins in Woolton.
Between Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, police received several reports that a man had tried and opened car doors and looted vehicles on Charterhouse Road, Pastures Close and Lyndor Road.
CCTV Enquiries and Appeal
CCTV enquiries have been carried out to identify the suspect, and detectives have now issued an image of a man they believe could help their investigation. In the picture, the man is wearing glasses, a Mercedes Benz cap and a large coat.
Inspector Gaenor Kennedy said: "We are appealing for information following a series of reported incidents where a man was seen opening car doors in Woolton and searching for items inside.
"I am appealing to find the man shown in this CCTV footage, or anyone who recognises him to come forward as we believe they could hold information that could support our continuing enquiries.
"Similarly, if you live on Charterhouse Road, Pastures Close or Lyndor Road and saw what happened, or have any doorbell footage of these incidents between Tuesday 13 October and Wednesday 14 October please contact police as soon as possible."
