Merseyside Police have charged a man after a victim was slashed in the face in St Helens. Officers received a report around 10.55pm on Tuesday, July 28, that a man in his 40s had sustained a slash wound to his face on Greenwood Court.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to hospital. A neighbour reported that a police presence had been outside a property on Fallow Close, near Greenwood Court, all day. Photos from the scene showed a police car parked outside a Fallow Close property.
Suspect charged and remanded
Terence Darracott, 50, of Pollitt Crescent, St Helens, has been charged with wounding with intent. He was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court on Thursday, July 30.
