Bradley Riches Heartbroken After Car and Coffee Truck Stolen

Emmerdale star Bradley Riches has been left in tears after coming home to discover that his car and coffee van had been stolen while he was attending the Heartstopper Forever premiere in London. The 24-year-old actor, who plays Lewis Barton on the ITV soap, shared the devastating news on Instagram, posting a tearful selfie and revealing that thieves had taken two of his most prized possessions.

Heartbreaking Discovery After a Perfect Night

Riches wrote: "Always sharing the highs and the lows on here. This week started so perfectly. I got back from the Heartstopper premiere after having the best time… only to come home and find out I’d been robbed." He added: "My car is gone, but what breaks my heart the most is that my coffee truck has been taken too. @bradleysbarandcafe. Two things I've worked so incredibly hard for, gone just like that."

The actor expressed his anger and sorrow, stating: "I'm absolutely heartbroken. To the person who took them, I hope you have a really bad day." The theft occurred while Riches was in London for the premiere of Heartstopper Forever, a Netflix series in which he appears.

Outpouring of Support from Co-Stars and Fans

Riches' post was met with an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities and fans. Heartstopper co-star Robbie White commented: "Mate, I'm so so sorry to hear this, just glad you didn't get hurt! Sending lots of love to you both." His Celebrity Big Brother co-star David Potts added: "Sending you so much love my baby! Absolute scumbags." Big Brother's Kerry Riches said: "Oh darling I'm so sorry to read this. Love you." Emmerdale's Laura Norton wrote: "What??? That's awful Bradley. I hope you're ok."

Fans also rallied around the actor. One wrote: "Oh honey I'm so sorry. What an awful thing for someone to do. At least you weren't home when it happened and you and the hubs are safe. How terribly violated you both must feel. Sending love." Another said: "I'm so so sorry this happened to you!! I really hope the authorities can find your things and return them!"

New Business Venture Stolen

Bradley and his husband Scott had announced their new business venture in May this year, revealing that their coffee van would be parked at The New Inn, Eccup, each Saturday between 8am and 2pm, serving fresh coffee. The couple's venture offered iced coffee and iced hot chocolate as the nation enjoyed soaring temperatures over the early summer months.

The theft comes as a major blow to the couple, who had worked hard to launch the business. Riches later took to his Instagram Stories to share the same emotional selfie ahead of the World Cup 2026 semi-final between England and Argentina, writing: "Let's hope football and my car is coming home."

Heartstopper Premiere and Celebrity Friendships

While in London for the premiere, Riches also visited his friend Kelly Osbourne, with whom he struck up a friendship after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother alongside Sharon Osbourne. Bradley and his husband stayed with Sharon and Kelly, sharing a snap of Sharon's dog, Pickles, with the caption: "Best sleepover ever! Morning cuddles with Pickles." Kelly later posted a picture of Bradley and Scott cuddling her son, Sidney, writing: "Baby Sidney is obsessed with his new best friends @brad_riches & @scottjohnstonriches." She also shared a video of Bradley, saying: "Good luck at your movie premier tonight @brad_riches I am so proud of you! @scottjohnstonriches I can't wait to see your outfit on the red carpet!"
