Bomb threats disrupt six flights across Europe, including Ryanair

Six passenger flights have been hit by suspected bomb threats today, including three Ryanair planes. Two aircraft, including one that had departed from London Heathrow, have been inspected in Warsaw, while a Ryanair flight from Manchester was forced to land in Murcia.

A plane flying from Israel also landed at Sofia airport earlier today after a bomb threat was received by email, according to local media. Italian news outlets reported that Rome Fiumicino was affected by two suspected bomb threats, impacting two Ryanair flights from Dublin and Lisbon.

Previous incident

Yesterday, a Wizz Air flight was hit by a similar emergency. The latest disruptions follow that earlier incident as authorities continue to respond to the threats.
