Detectives are searching for a man after a 32-year-old woman was raped at a popular Scottish beauty spot. The incident occurred at the Luss Public Car Park in Loch Lomond National Park, Argyll and Bute, in the early hours of Saturday, September 27.
Police Scotland received a report around 1am after the woman said she was assaulted by a man. The suspect is described as a white man with blond hair and a Scottish accent.
Detective Inspector Julie Clisby said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing and we are doing everything we can to trace the man responsible. We are keen to talk to anyone who was in the Luss Car Park between 11.45pm on Friday, 26 September, 2025 and 12.30am on Saturday, 27 September, 2025.”
She added: “In particular, we would ask that a group of people who spoke to the victim after the incident contact officers as a matter of urgency, as they may have information that could prove vital. It may seem insignificant to you, but could be pivotal in our investigation. I am also keen to speak to anyone with dash cam or private CCTV footage from the area at the time.”
