Greater Manchester Police have released an image of a man they wish to trace in connection with a sexual assault at Wigan bus station.
Incident details
The attack is reported to have taken place on Sunday, July 26, at around 4.15am. The victim, a woman, was sexually assaulted at the town centre bus station.
Officers believe the incident was isolated, but patrols in the area have been increased as a precaution.

Inspector Lisa Morris, of Wigan’s neighbourhood team, said: “We have launched an investigation into this incident and are making a number of enquiries at pace to locate the person responsible. We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or may recognise this individual as we believe he may be able to help with our investigation.
“Anyone with information, or anyone who knows the man pictured are asked to contact the Wigan Neighbourhood Team on 0161 856 7160 quoting log 505 of 26.07.26. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“We believe this to be an isolated incident, but in order to reassure the public and those visiting or living in the town centre, patrols have been increased in the area.”
