Lancashire Police have launched a manhunt after two teenage girls were allegedly raped in an alleyway in Blackpool. The incident occurred at 2:36am on Saturday, July 25, in an alleyway off Deansgate, running between Edward Street and Topping Street.
Police statement
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We were called at 2.36 am on Saturday, July 25 to a report of rape in Blackpool. It was reported that two girls, both in their late teens, had been raped by a man in an alleyway off Deansgate, the alleyway running between Edward Street and Topping Street. An investigation has been launched by detectives."
Ongoing enquiries
The police confirmed that both victims are being supported by officers and that enquiries are at an early stage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 0195 of July 25.
