Trump accused of rape by ex-Miss Switzerland over 1993 incident
Trump accused of rape by former Miss Switzerland

Beatrice Keul, a model and former Miss Switzerland, has accused Donald Trump of raping her during an encounter in November 1993. The White House has denied the allegations.

Keul, who in 2024 claimed that Trump had groped her during that encounter, has now alleged that he also raped her during the incident. The allegations were made in a 53-page congressional staff report released on Monday (October 26) by the Democratic minority staff of the House Judiciary Committee. The report details the Democrats' investigation into Trump's alleged connections to Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.

Alleged Meeting at the Plaza Hotel

Keul alleged to Democratic committee staffers that she met Trump when she was 24 at an event for a pageant at New York's Plaza Hotel, which he owned. She claimed that he promised to arrange a visa for her and said he could ensure that she got accepted into New York University (NYU).

Keul claimed that Trump told her "I will take care of you" before being approached by Epstein and invited to a party at Mar-a-Lago. She alleged that Epstein told her that he was "Don's best friend" and that "we organise many parties with Don".

Report Allegations and White House Response

The report claims that a representative for Trump later allegedly invited Keul to meet the future president upstairs at the Plaza Hotel. It alleges that Trump grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly raped her in what she claimed was a "brutal" incident.

The White House has denied the allegations in the report and said Trump had been "fully exonerated of anything related to Epstein". A spokesman called the claims "a desperate attempt by crazed Democrats to distract Americans from the surging Republican momentum driven by President Trump's historic achievements".

Trump has said he ended his friendship with Epstein long before there were suspicions of any criminal wrongdoing. He has repeatedly described him as a "creep" whom he kicked out of his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, US.

The report is called, "We Have Certain Things in Common, Jeffrey: The Case Against Donald Trump Emerging in the Epstein Files and DOJ's Desperate Efforts to Cover it Up".
