Adult star Sophie Rain says she was 'grabbed' by a crazed stalker in the lobby of the hotel where she was staying, with the obsessed man saying he came to 'marry her'.

The OnlyFans star was approached by the man in the lobby of the Mondrian South Beach hotel, who claimed he had made the trip specifically to marry her. The incident unfolded in May when Rain made her runway debut at Miami Swim Week.

Stalker travelled over 1,000 miles

Connor McCrory, a close friend of Rain who heads up her marketing, told the NYP: "He had apparently travelled from New York to Miami specifically to find Sophie. That immediately raised serious concerns for everyone around her."

"It was especially alarming because this was not somebody who simply recognized Sophie and asked for a photograph. He claimed he had crossed several states because he intended to marry her."

He then tried to 'grab' Rain when she rebuffed his advances. McCrory said: "At that point, our only priority was getting her away from him and making sure she was safe.

"When someone says they travelled that far to marry a person they have never met and then tries to grab her, you cannot treat that as harmless excitement. It has to be taken seriously."

No police called

Rain's team decided not to call the police but did report the incident to the hotel. McCrory continued: "We wanted staff to be aware of the situation in case he remained on or returned to the property."

Rain, who is one of the top five earners on the adult site at around $45 million per year, and known for saving her virginity and limiting her content to 'lingerie-bikini level suggestive teasing', has had similar stalkers in the past.

On Wednesday, Rain's accused stalker Connor Litka, who broke into the house she was renting last year, went missing from an Indiana crisis centre.

Security increased

Litka told an employee he hoped to return to "Florida to be with Sophie," whom he called his girlfriend, even saying they made a "blood oath" together, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

McCrory said there was still no update on Litka's whereabouts, and Rain's team has since increased her security.
