A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped after her parents left her home alone to go to work in Didwana, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, July 29. Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the suspect, identified as a neighbour, who remains at large.
Attack and Discovery
The girl was found bleeding by her parents when they returned home from work. She told them what had happened, and they rushed her to Bangar Hospital for treatment. A medical examination confirmed she had been raped.
Police Response
Ritu Kumari, the leading police officer in the case, said detectives have gathered evidence from the scene and a thorough investigation is underway. The scene has been taped off. Hundreds of locals gathered at the police station demanding the suspect's arrest.
Suspect Still at Large
The alleged attacker, a young male neighbour, has not been apprehended. Police are appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
