Brit teens report rape on Zante; Greek police investigate

Two 18-year-old British women have reported being raped by a man while on holiday in Zante, on the Greek island of Zakynthos. Greek authorities are investigating the allegations, according to Greek outlet Ethnos.

Alleged incidents and medical examinations

The women told police they had met the man before the alleged incidents. They later informed their families and went to hospital for medical examinations. The mother of one of the women travelled from Britain to Greece after learning of the allegations.

Altercation and police involvement

While on the island, the mother reportedly spotted the man at his workplace, leading to an altercation. She is alleged to have attacked him, prompting police to attend. Those involved were taken to a police station.
