Twin Brothers Jailed for Brutal Cocaine-Fuelled Attack on Friend and Mother

Twin brothers Keiron and Jordan Lewis have been jailed for a vicious assault that left their friend Curtis Williams in a pool of blood and also targeted his ex-partner at her home near Pontypridd, Wales. The attack occurred on August 13 after the group had been drinking and taking cocaine.

Cardiff Crown Court heard that the brothers arrived at the property around 11pm. Keiron Lewis refused to leave despite the woman's children being inside. When she went upstairs to check on them, the twins followed. Mr Williams heard a commotion and went to investigate, finding the defendants attacking the woman. When he intervened, they turned on him.

The twins repeatedly punched and kicked Mr Williams, telling him: 'This is what you f****** get when you think you're it.' He suffered extensive bruising to his face, eye sockets, and right shoulder, a head wound, a broken nose, and a fractured cheek.

Both brothers pleaded guilty to wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm and criminal damage. Keiron Lewis, with nine previous convictions including four for battery, was jailed for 45 months. Jordan Lewis, with one previous conviction, received a three-year term.

In mitigation, the court heard they were intoxicated and 'overreacted' but were now remorseful. Recorder Mark Powell KC said: 'This was a very nasty, very unpleasant, and very prolonged assault to someone you owed a debt of friendship rather than hostility.'
