New Epstein Videos Reveal Semi-Clothed Auditions in Modelling Ruse

Newly-released videos from the Jeffrey Epstein case suggest the convicted sex offender made some of his victims perform semi-clothed catwalk auditions. The footage, part of a three-million-document tranche published by the US Department of Justice, provides evidence that Epstein lured young girls by masquerading as a Victoria's Secret talent scout.

Disturbing Footage from Epstein's Computer

The videos, understood to have been seized from Epstein's computer by US authorities, show numerous clips of young women who appear to be auditioning as models. In almost all cases, their faces are blacked out and some voices are muted to protect their identities, though it remains unclear whether all individuals shown are confirmed victims.

The disturbing clips convey the global reach of Epstein's operation, with young women sending audition tapes from various locations worldwide. One video shows a potential victim posing in bare legs and high heels with a hand on her hip. Another depicts a woman in lingerie walking toward the camera as if on a catwalk, in what appears to be a recruitment agency with model photos on the walls behind her.

Historical Context of the Victoria's Secret Ruse

This footage lends credibility to previous allegations about Epstein's methods. In 1997, the serial sex offender assaulted model and aspiring actress Alicia Arden at a Santa Monica hotel after telling her he was a talent scout for Victoria's Secret. When Arden arrived for what she believed was an audition, Epstein grabbed her, tried to undress her, and said he wanted to 'manhandle' her, causing her to flee in tears.

Arden reported the incident to police the following day, concerned Epstein might use his claimed connection to Victoria's Secret to harm other women. Her testimony remains one of the earliest known police records of sexual misconduct allegations against the financier.

Additional Revelations from the Released Files

The latest document release contains further disturbing details about Epstein's activities. Other videos show girls posing in front of artworks, with one ordered by a man with an Australian accent to try and 'look a little happier' for the photograph. One young woman spoke Russian to a man filming her in a car's backseat, while another posed in a selfie video before a mountain range.

A different clip depicts a young girl wearing leggings and trainers, posing before 'Morning in a Pine Forest,' the renowned Russian oil painting housed in Moscow's Tretyakov Gallery. Another shows a victim dancing provocatively to Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black,' wearing black stockings and tinsel. Some clips even show young women posing topless for the camera.

Connections to Modelling Industry Figures

While Epstein never officially worked for Victoria's Secret, he maintained a close relationship with American billionaire Leslie Wexner, then head of its parent company L Brands. Wexner, credited with making Victoria's Secret a global brand, has never been accused of wrongdoing.

Epstein also utilized French modelling scout Jean-Luc Brunel, who was found hanged in his Paris prison cell in 2022, to allegedly help procure 'more than a thousand' women. The late Virginia Roberts Giuffre, Epstein's long-time accuser who died by suicide last year, alleged in court filings that Brunel brought teenage girls into the US on model visas and 'farmed them out' to Epstein and others for sex.

Evidence of Covert Surveillance

Emails published by the Department of Justice confirm for the first time that Epstein made covert recordings using hidden cameras in his numerous residences. In a February 5, 2014 message, Epstein asked his pilot Larry Visoski for 'three motion detected hidden cameras that record.'

Visoski, who also worked as a technician for Epstein's property empire, replied: 'I already two purchased the Motion sensor camera from the Spy Store in Fort Lauderdale yesterday... I'm installing them into Kleenex boxes now. I'll bring them by later today.'

On the same day, Epstein received an email from someone whose name has been redacted, stating: 'Remember what we spoke about if you want to put cameras in the house. It will have to be very discreetly done. The Russians may come in handy.'

Epstein was found hanged in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The newly-released videos and documents provide further insight into the sophisticated methods he employed to exploit vulnerable young women under the guise of modelling opportunities.
